Create your own backups before updates, mod changes, or troubleshooting.

Stop the service so world files are not changing during the copy.

Use the file manager or SFTP connection details to download the world folder, configuration folders, and any plugin or mod data you need.

Store the backup outside NodeFlux, with a date and the matching Minecraft and server software version.

To restore, stop the service, keep a copy of the current files, then upload the saved folders back to their original locations.

Start the service and check the console before allowing players to join.

Keep more than one backup when testing new plugins, mods, or Minecraft versions.

Include your server.properties, whitelist, permissions, plugin configuration, and mod configuration when they matter to the world.
