Perform clean map wipes, blueprint resets, and maintain regular wipe cycles for your Rust community. ## Steps 1. Announce the scheduled wipe time to your player community in advance. 2. Stop the Rust server from the manager panel. 3. To perform a Map Wipe: delete .sav files located in server/my_server_identity/ directory. 4. To perform a Blueprint Wipe: delete player.blueprints.*.db files in the identity folder. 5. Update server.seed in server.cfg to generate a fresh procedural map layout. 6. Start the server and verify in console that a new map save file is created. ## Notes - Facepunch enforces mandatory global updates and map wipes on the first Thursday of every month. - Backing up identity folders prior to wiping allows restoring previous map states if needed.
