Allow Bedrock players on mobile, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch to join your Java Paper or Purpur server. ## Steps 1. Ensure your Java server runs Paper, Purpur, or Spigot and has an active assigned additional UDP port in the panel. 2. Download Geyser-Spigot.jar and Floodgate-Spigot.jar from the official GeyserMC download portal. 3. Upload both plugin JARs to your server plugins/ directory and restart the server to generate default config files. 4. Open plugins/Geyser-Spigot/config.yml and set bedrock.port to your assigned secondary UDP port. 5. Set clone-remote-port: false and verify the address field points to 0.0.0.0. 6. Set auth-type: floodgate in Geyser config.yml so Bedrock players can join seamlessly without needing Java Minecraft accounts. 7. Restart the server and test joining with a Minecraft Bedrock client using your server IP and secondary UDP port. ## Notes - Floodgate handles skin translation and offline UUID mapping for Bedrock players automatically. - Console users may need custom DNS workarounds (e.g., BedrockTogether app) to connect to custom IP addresses.
