Open your Terraria server configuration file (serverconfig.txt or config.json for TShock). 2. Set autocreate=1 (Small), 2 (Medium), or 3 (Large) depending on desired map size. 3. Set difficulty=0 (Classic), 1 (Expert), 2 (Master), or 3 (Journey). 4. Set seed= followed by your desired custom world seed string or number. 5. Set worldname= to assign a distinct display name for the world file. 6. Delete or rename existing world files in the worlds directory if forcing fresh world generation. 7. Start the server; world generation progress will display in percentages in the console. ## Notes - Medium and Large worlds require slightly more RAM during initial generation. - Journey mode worlds require players to create Journey mode characters to connect.
