Allow players running older or newer Minecraft game versions to connect to your server seamlessly. ## Steps 1. Download ViaVersion.jar (allows newer client versions to connect to older servers). 2. Download ViaBackwards.jar (allows older client versions down to 1.12.2 to join newer 1.20+ servers). 3. Download ViaRewind.jar (allows legacy 1.8.x clients to join). 4. Place all three JAR files into plugins/ directory and restart the server. 5. Inspect startup console logs to verify protocol translation tables loaded properly. 6. Test joining the server with different Minecraft client versions to confirm multi-version support. ## Notes - ViaVersion runs entirely on the server; players do not need to install any mods or clients. - ViaVersion is compatible with Paper, Purpur, Velocity, and BungeeCord proxies.
